Chassis 50177 - Roger LABRIC & Pierre VEYRON
This is the fourth and last entry for chassis n°50177, still driven by Roger Labric and Pierre Veyron. The only visible modification is the appearance of a curved protection grid on the four lights. The car is still sky blue, and once more, it is an axle failure that triggered the team’s retirement. It took another two years for Bugatti to win the 24h or Le Mans with a T57G.
The model is entirely made out of aluminium, brass and steel. The engine is completely screwed, which means that it can be totally dismantled. The crankcase and the clutch housing are moulded in aluminium according to a lost-wax casting process. All the other parts are manufactured or assembled through mechanical welding.
Creation entirely designed and made at my workshop in France.
